The Congress and Cultural Management GmbH (KUKM) consists of over 40 professionals and more than 25 years of experience in organizing and managing congresses and events for societies, associations, universities and companies in the areas of science, economy and culture.

History of Our Company

In 1993 Olaf Theuerkauf and Maria Herz founded Kongress- und Kultur Management GmbH (KUKM). After first successes with cultural management the range of services quickly expanded to congress organization, which has become the main focus of the company today. Since then a steadily growing number of specialist societies, institutions, associations and industry representatives, have been hiring our services for a number of years, and benefit from the synergies that have come along with it.
Today KUKM is one of the largest and most successful Professional Conference Organizers (PCOs) in Germany and has been organizing the German Cancer Congress with more than 12’000 participants for over 12 years.
